The Nike Dunk Low Easter is a seasonal take on the classic Dunk, inspired by a series of Easter-themed patent leather Air Force 1 releases from previous years. This lifestyle sneaker leans into soft pastel tones and glossy finishes, giving it a festive look while still working as a casual everyday option if you’re into brighter color palettes.

So, what’s the deal with the sneaker collection (Seinfeld Voice)? Right around 2008, I’d just lost a lot of weight and was in need of an entirely new wardrobe. I was in the process of buying newer, smaller clothes and the time came for a new pair of shoes. Rather than pick some ordinary pair like I normally would, I opted for a more interesting and unique looking pair. The response from others was so strong and positive that I decided to look more into the different kinds of cool sneakers and discovered that collecting sneakers is similar to collecting comics, baseball cards, or any other of the numerous hobbies I had when I was a kid! I’ve been into sneakers ever since – to the extent that I even got an article written about me in the paper! I’ve also been collector of the month in Solecollector Magazine (issue #47)!
I built up a lot of my collection looking for deals on slept-on pairs! I also post deals I find on this very site when I have time.
As for the photography aspect, check out any Sneaker related websites (there are many), and you will typically find posts filled with awesome, artsy footwear shots. I like learning about cameras and taking interesting shots, and it turns out there are actually sites online where you can get recognized for both your collection and photography skills at the same time! You can check out some of my most recent shots below. If you’re curious, I currently shoot with a Nikon D3100 (Amazon link) and mostly use a 50mm lens.
My eBay account is where I list my current sneakers available for sale (if I happen to be selling any).

Nike SB Dunk Low x Dashawn Jordan Diamondbacks Review
The Nike SB Dunk Low x Dashawn Jordan “Diamondbacks” is a collaboration with Dashawn Jordan, an X Games gold-medalist skateboarder from Arizona. The colorway draws inspiration from the early-2000s palette of the Arizona Diamondbacks, specifically referencing the team’s 2001 World Series “Copperhead” fitted cap that featured a distinctive snakeskin brim. The result is a bold Nike SB Dunk Low skate shoe that blends baseball nostalgia with skate culture aesthetics.

The Nike Air 180 Light Khaki is a premium take on the classic Nike Air 180 retro runner, released alongside pairs like the University Blue and Hyper Pink version. This colorway leans into a beach-inspired theme, using earthy tones and subtle design elements to create a laid-back but detailed lifestyle sneaker.

The Nike SB Dunk Low Muni Fast Pass pays tribute to the San Francisco Muni’s iconic monthly transit cards once used across San Francisco. These passes were a staple for locals (and especially for skaters) throughout the 1980s and 1990s. The sneaker recreates the colorful design language of the passes, and while more colorways based on different Muni card designs are reportedly on the way, this is the first pair to release.

The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Hot Punch is a non-OG colorway of the classic Spiridon, named for its bright Hot Punch and Volt accents that really stand out on the upper. This bold take on the retro runner pairs vivid colors with a slightly vintage tan midsole, giving the sneaker a mix of classic running heritage and modern streetwear style.

The New Balance 993 Olive Leaf / Maize is a straightforward but striking colorway from the Made in USA 993 line. This lifestyle sneaker and retro runner blends earthy olive tones with muted violet accents, making it a versatile option for casual wear and everyday streetwear style. It is another Teddy Santis colorway that released alongside the Mushroom 993 I reviewed earlier. I look at these two as kind of a “pack” of GR 993s.
