Saucony collab alert! These Saucony Grid 9000 Premier Street Sweets are based on street vendor candy. The elastic laces represent taffy and the color scheme represents the candy wrapper.
These also feature branding on the tongue and insole. These come in a special box and include a metal tin with extra laces, lace locks and some candy.
These are tougher to match up than you would think. They would go perfectly with some khakis, but I don’t own any! The light wash and dark wash denim both seem like too much, so I went with a medium wash. I paired this up with a white top and it seems to be working ok as an outfit.
Premier has done a good amount of collabs with various brands and rarely disappoint. While this isn’t their first Saucony collab, it’s the first one I’ve picked up, as I’m already a huge Grid 9000 fan. I highly recommend the Grid 9000 in general as a shoe that should be in everyone’s collection, and this is a great pair to start with if you don’t already have any of this model.
How Are The Materials?
These feature soft suede and smooth leather uppers. The material quality is really good! It’s not insanely lush like a pair of Made In USA New Balances, but the premium quality is definitely noticeable. You definitely won’t be disappointed in the materials if you grab a pair of these.
How Do They Fit?
The Saucony Grid 9000 Premier Street Sweets fit true to size and are super comfy. They have a little less give than Grid 9000s with mesh components, but not on a level that affects comfort. These an use a good reshaping but other than that, the look of these is on point!
