Nike Basketball Reviews

Here’s all my Nike Basketball reviews!  Nike Basketball is a category I consistently checked for in my early days of collecting, especially when I was playing ball a lot.  This category includes both retros and newer models.  Although at this point, many of the “new” models I have here are probably considered retros!

Its tough to have a tech-oriented hoop shoe be relevant in streetwear.  Some models like the Lebron 8 do this seamlessly, but others struggle to look good off the court.  That said, I definitely tried with numerous models as you can see in some of these reviews and on feet photos.

The Nike KD VII Flight came out alongside a pair of Lebrons and Kobes along with some clothing as part of a “Flight Pack”. Nike’s website claims that the red and grey colorway is based off of Kevin Durant’s ability to control a game.

Nike Air Command Force Hyper Jade Review

Updated September 15, 2015 by Anthony

Looking very similar to the “Emerald” colorway of the OG Air Force 180 hightops, these Nike Air Command Force Hyper Jade definitely bring the old school “huge bball kick” vibe.

Nike KD VII XMAS Review

Updated September 4, 2015 by Anthony

Typically, most of the major footwear brands worn in the NBA will release some kind of Holiday-related kicks during winter. The Nike KD VII XMAS is part of a now annual Nike Basketball holiday pack.

Nike Air Command Force Billy Hoyle Review

Updated September 3, 2015 by Anthony

Although this model is commonly associated with David Robinson, these Nike Air Command Force Billy Hoyle actually are more known for their appearance in the movie White Men Can’t Jump. While the main character wore these in the movie to hoop, I’m not sure you would want to play in these today.
