The Nike SB Dunk Low Arts-Rec is a San Diego-inspired collab with Arts-Rec Skateshop, pulling heavy influence from the SD Zoo and Balboa Park. Nike SB loves a good story-driven collab, and this pair goes all-in on the theme with plenty of animal references throughout.

Nike SB’s (especially Nike SB Dunks) are one of the main focuses of my collection – I have quite an array of colorways!
Check out some informational articles I’ve written about SB Dunks here.

Nike SB Dunks are based on, but quite a bit different from Nike Dunks. You can see a review on Nike Dunks here. For comparison, my overarching Nike SB Dunk review is here.
SBs are so popular that they have become tough to come by. So I don’t pick up nearly as many as I used to. That said, I still try to keep on top of releases in case one seems worth the effort of procuring.
While newer releases don’t quite evoke the feeling of the older pairs, there are still plenty of dope colorways and the brand is always worth paying attention to. The fit and materials aren’t exactly like they were in the past, but the brand is so cool, it demands attention regardless!
