Nike Dunk SB Low Shark Review

By Anthony Levine, longtime sneaker collector.

The Nike Dunk SB Low Shark is part of a trio of dunks that are often grouped together for similar materials and release times.

The other two dunks in question include Flashes and Lodens. These came out in 2002 and exemplify the simple yet dope colorways, shoe shape and quality that is synonymous with orange box SB dunks. These get their name from the colorway.

Superb materials are in place on the shoe as expected for an orange box SB. The suede/nubuck and leather are all top notch. The suede is so soft, I spent a few minutes just touching the shoe when I first got it. Any way you shake it, you will be hard pressed to find a shoe from this era with sub-par craftsmanship.

Fit

The Nike Dunk SB Low Shark fits true to size, although I was able to go a half size down on my pair. Although snug, this actually still fits comfortably. It’s a testament to the overall comfort and well put together interior of older dunk SB’s.
