Nike Air Command Force Billy Hoyle Review

By Anthony Levine, longtime sneaker collector.

Although this model is commonly associated with David Robinson, these Nike Air Command Force Billy Hoyle actually are more known for their appearance in the movie White Men Can’t Jump. While the main character wore these in the movie to hoop, I’m not sure you would want to play in these today.

They got this retro pretty close to the pair that Woody Harrelson’s character wore in the early-90s movie. I’m definitely one for nostalgia in regards to bulky basketball kicks from the 90’s and these tick all the boxes that made kicks from that era great

These come with leather and rubber uppers and a possibly working pump in the collar (the release is on the back). The materials are sturdy here, but nothing remarkable as far as quality is concerned. I’ve found the pumps on these newer retros to be hit or miss. You might get one that works, or you might not.

These came with white laces and the box these come in is HUGE!
