Air Force 1 High University Blue Review

By Anthony Levine, longtime sneaker collector.

I was able to grab these at a discount and it was a good move! The Air Force 1 High University Blue is yet another out of the OG Color of the Month pack that gives a nod to Baltimore footwear stores such as DTLR that began selling exclusive colorways of the Air Force 1 in the 80s.

After grabbing the Royal Blue pair, I knew the materials on these were going to be dope and I wasn’t disappointed. These have a suede upper with a leather swoosh and nylon tongue and all the materials are super buttery! The build is solid and overall you will not need to worry about getting subpar quality with these. I spent a couple minutes just touching the suede when I first got these, it’s so soft!

As expected, the Air Force 1 High University Blue fit a half size large. I would definitely size down a half size for a perfect fit. These are definitely as heavy if not slightly heavier than your typical AF1, but they are still extremely comfortable and make great kicks for doing non athletic things like hanging out and chilling. I’ve even walked a good amount of distance in these without any discomfort although I’m not sure I would do anything more athletic than that.
