I’ve been a low key Under Armour fan for a little while, and I always been a huge Warriors fan so you know it was only a matter of time before you saw me repping with something like the Under Armour Curry 2 Longshot. Not to mention that black and yellow which are my high school colors.
These shoes get their nickname off Curry’s ability to drop bombs from anywhere on court!
The materials on these are basically a synthetic/plasticky upper with a textile on the black parts on the rear and the more plastic-like TPU type material towards the front.
Since this is basically a tech shoe, I can’t really comment on how good or bad the materials are, only that they look dope on foot!
Under Armour to me has had a branding issue in the past, but the Curry 2 seems to integrate the “X” logo well. The shoes also feature multiple Curry shoutouts like his number on the tongue tag.
I haven’t balled in a while but these feel like good shoes to ball in. That said, I definitely would go true to size as these are comfortable but designed to fit a little snug.
I haven’t worn a technical bball shoe casually in a while. Thanks the shape and color of the Under Armour Curry 2 Longshot, they make for a nice foray into sporting some basketball kicks casually. When you really think about it, all the retros we wear now were at one point technical basketball shoes.
