If you haven’t noticed, Saucony is one of my favorite brands and the Saucony Shadow Original Beige and Red is another GR in the collection that I’m glad I picked up!
I’ve already extolled the virtues of the Shadow Original in other posts, so all I can really add to that is that I was really feeling this colorway. Wear it with some light jeans like here and it’s a good look for spring, meanwhile throw em on with some darker pants and BAM – autumn wear!
So, if you check out some earlier Shadow OG reviews I made, I’m usually mentioning the surprising quality of such a low cost GR, and at the risk of sounding like a broken record, the materials on these are shockingly nice considering the price point. While not as lush as their Shadow 6000 counterparts, these still are way better in quality than your typical pair of GR Air Max 1 or other equivalent Nike.
Simple, comfortable and true to size. Those things all to me describe the Saucony Shadow Original Beige and Red. That’s why, when I’m having trouble figuring out what to wear these days if I need to do a lot of casual walking (which I do a lot), I’ve been reaching for different nice colorways of the Shadow Original.
