Nike SB Dunk Low Pro B (Pale Ivory) Review

By Anthony Levine, longtime sneaker collector.

The Nike SB Dunk Low Pro B in Pale Ivory continues Nike’s throwback to the pre-SB era, tapping into the roots of the Dunk with a clean, wearable colorway and a build that nods to the early 2000s.

Just like the Parachute Beige pair, this Pale Ivory version is based on the Pro B line—an important transitional model that bridged the gap between regular Nike Sportswear Dunks and what would eventually become Nike SB. These Pro Bs featured subtle skate-forward tweaks like fat tongues, added tongue straps, and varied material upgrades, depending on the release.

This pair sticks to the Parachute Beige formula, with a minimal design that really lets the materials and shape shine. The all-ivory upper, gum outsole, and white midsole give off a super clean and versatile vibe—easy to wear with anything. I’ve been trying to pick up all of this year’s Pro B drops, so these were a must. Grabbed them for retail off Premier without much trouble.

One detail worth noting again is the tongue tag—just like other recent Pro Bs, the “SB” is white-on-white and subtly blends into the tag, while the “Nike” lettering pops in contrast. The lower eyelets are also positioned in that traditional OG style where the first two eyelets sit on top of the toebox panel instead of being tucked behind.

These come in the purple SB Box with two sets of flat fat laces (both in similar off-white tones).

Materials

Like other Pro Bs in the line, this is a suede-heavy build. You get smooth suede throughout, and while it’s not super hairy or premium tier, it feels nice in-hand and soft on-foot. No overlays, no flashy textures—just a clean, consistent execution.

Fit & Comfort

The fit here feels pretty forgiving compared to most SBs. I stuck with true to size and found them comfortable right out of the box. The fat tongue still adds some of that signature SB snugness, but overall these feel more relaxed than a standard SB Dunk Low. The suede also helps the break-in feel easier and quicker than with leather-based pairs.

Zoom Air is present in the insole, but like most casual pairs, you won’t really feel it working overtime during regular wear. They’re fine for everyday use and decent for walking around—just don’t expect running shoe levels of bounce.

If these are sold out at different stores online, you can try looking for them on eBay.
