The Nike SB Dunk Low x NOTE Manchester Brew & Biscuits is a collaboration with NOTE Manchester, centered around the classic British ritual of tea and biscuits. This playful SB Dunk Low skate shoe leans fully into the theme, combining food-inspired visuals with detailed storytelling elements, while still working well for casual wear too.
Launched in 2002, the Nike SB Dunk reworked the original 1985 Nike Dunk for skateboarding by adding padded tongues, Zoom Air cushioning, and improved traction. Over time, it’s become one of the most recognizable skate sneakers and streetwear staples, known for creative collaborations and unique concepts like this one.
This pair is packed with details. The most notable feature is the set of interchangeable Velcro Swooshes in pink, brown, and yellow, revealing a biscuit assortment print underneath when removed. That same biscuit graphic continues onto the collar and insole, showcasing different types of cookies and wafers. The white midsole and outsole might not be for everyone, but here it’s meant to represent a teacup, tying into the overall theme. Underneath, there’s a tea-ring stain graphic on the outsole, mimicking the look of a mug being set down. The tongue tags include a “Strength of Brew” guide on one shoe and a “Selection of Biscuits” chart on the other, while NOTE Manchester branding appears on the heel tabs, with an additional hidden NOTE Love Park logo under the insole.
I’ve always taken an interest in food-themed sneakers, and this pair really hits that niche. The biscuit print actually reminds me a bit of the pattern on the Ferris Bueller SBs, a pair I used to have, and the interchangeable Swooshes bring back memories of pairs I’ve owned like the Vans x Purlicue Old Skools. So this one taps into a bit of nostalgia for me. Finally – wheat colorway? Among my favorite types of color schemes. I grabbed these for retail from 510 Skateboarding, and overall it felt like a fun pickup with a lot going on.
Packaging comes in the white Nike SB quickstrike box, and you get a solid set of extras: three removable Swooshes, a tea bag-inspired hangtag, and four sets of SB laces (white, wheat, brown, and a patterned pair to match the theme).
Materials
Materials feature a Flax-colored suede upper, chosen to reflect that warm tea tone. The suede is soft and feels good overall, typical of a solid SB release. It’s actually pretty buttery! The quality is definitely appropriate for a collaborative skate sneaker, with good construction and consistency throughout.
Fit & Comfort
Fit is typical SB Dunk Low sizing. I personally go half a size up to account for the padded tongue and to reduce break-in time. Underfoot, the Zoom Air cushioning provides that familiar responsive feel, and overall comfort is good for a few hours of casual wear or skating, especially once broken in.
If these are sold out at different stores online, you can try looking for them on eBay.
