Yet another GR Dunk SB pickup, what sets these Nike SB Dunk Low Desert Sand/Mahogany apart for me as a US citizen is that these apparently aren’t going to see a widespread US release.
They do seem to be popping up everywhere else though! These come with a set of brown laces and a set of white laces.
This shoe is so neutral, it can go with almost anything. I would avoid black, grey or khaki pants to counter any clashing or mismatching. Instead, opt for blue denim in any wash (light or dark) and you should be good to go with these! Pair that with a white, light grey or navy top and your fit is complete!
While not exactly rare, these are special if you live in the United States, so the collector in me couldn’t pass these up. I’m stoked to have gotten my hands on a pair!
How Are The Materials?
The materials here are a very basic suede with a basic leather swoosh. The suede is not sandpaper, but it’s not exactly great either. It’s good enough for this GR dunk though. This shoe I would say is more about the low key colorway than it is the materials. Overall I’d say the quality is about standard for a low-tier general release, but definitely not exciting or mind-blowing.
How Do They Fit?
These Nike SB Dunk Low Desert Sand/Mahogany are comfortable at true to size. However, at a half size up, I get less pinky rub and notice the stiffness of the kicks a lot less. I’m willing to have them be a little big on foot in exchange for overall more comfort and a shorter break-in period. If you can nail the sizing, you can get a lot of comfort from a modern SB.
