Here we have another pair in classic colorway that has been flipped from a dunk low SB into a high. The Nike Dunk SB High De La Soul is a great example of a colorway flip done correctly.
I’m feeling these as far as looks. These obviously are a tribute to hip hop pioneers De La Soul and their flowery album art.
The uppers are all leather and the lenticular image changing material they used to use on “3D” bookmarks back in the day (remember real books?). This is similar to those found on the TV Dunk Highs that would release years later.
These come with white and yellow laces.
As far as the fit, as is typical for SB Dunks of this era, we get a stiff and narrow shape. I still think true to size is the best look here. Try to keep in mind that these will take some time to break in.
I ultimately wound up selling these off. At the time, I didn’t think I would need these in the collection. However, the uniqueness and brightness of the shoe gives it a great look and now I kind of wish I had a pair again!
