Nike Dunk Low Premium SB Medicom 4 Review

By Anthony Levine, longtime sneaker collector.

Today I’m rocking the fourth in a series of collaborations between Nike SB and toy company Medicom. The Nike Dunk Low SB Medicom 4 are a limited release, much like the Medicom 1.

This was in part a commemorative release of the 10th anniversary of Babekub City and features insoles embossed with an “X”.

The shoe itself is comprised of a snakeskin-embossed patent leather upper with a leather tongue tag and interior. The materials used are solid, but my one gripe with the shoe has got to be the leather liner. It’s fancy, sure, but prone to cracking, peeling and sticking to socks in warm weather. The insides of my pair were trashed after a few wears!

These come with white and grey SB laces. I found the fit on these to be pretty snug thanks to the materials. These are still comfortable in an old-school SB kind of way. However, there are definitely way more comfy black box era SB’s out there.
