I’ve owned previous retros of this sneaker. Still, I always need to keep a fresh pair of the Nike Air Max 95 Neon OG in the collection. This sneaker is a retro of an original colorway (a colorway that has released several times over the years).
I’m really glad I was able to grab these for retail on SNKRS as they are a must have for me. I always need a relatively fresh pair of Infrared 90s and Neon 95s in the stacks and now I have both.
These come in a special neon, black and grey Air Max 95 box that mirrors the OG’s box. They include white rope laces with 3M speckles. Finally, anatomical arch supports are included. This retro features the same tongue tag branding and PSI details on the outsole as the OG, something that can’t be said for many of the releases of this colorway over the years.
How Are The Materials?
Here we have that Nike GR retro runner level of materials, which is to say, acceptable but nothing special. The suede used on the gradient is soft but otherwise unremarkable. Meanwhile, the rest of the sneakers’ mesh and 3M are good but nothing amazing. Overall we get an acceptable amount of quality given this shoe is supposed to mirror what they were using in the mid-90s.
How Do They Fit?
These fit true to size. I do a size 10 in most Nikes like Air Jordan 1s, 3s, Air Maxes, etc. I got my regular size 10 and these fit fine. To some, these aren’t the most comfortable Air Maxes out there. While I prefer the Air Max 90 overall, these are still a decently comfy pair of kicks, and certainly can be worn for longer than a pair of newer SB dunks or Jordan 1s.
