Nike Air Max 90 Lime Review

By Anthony Levine, longtime sneaker collector.

These are basically another color swap similar to the 5-pack of Infrared-colorblocked Air Max 90 “recrafts”. These Nike Air Max 90 Lime got their nickname online, as nobody can tell me exactly what color of green they are using on the sneaker.

Similar to the other OG Recraft pairs, we get Lime-colorblocked arch supports and hangtag and standard flat white laces. The main difference here though is that these come in a regular orange Nike box instead of the skinny special box the others came in. While the regular box looks less cool, at least it doesn’t squish the sneakers together and cause toebox dents like the skinny boxes.

I thought they were going to stop at 5 non-OG colorways in this infrared blocking, but I was wrong! They could slap any accent color on this blocking and the shoes come out looking great!

How Are The Materials?

Again, these sport a general release level of Nike Sportswear quality, but slightly better. Felt suede and standard leather, just the slightest bit more soft and plush than your average release. The materials definitely are adequate for what this shoe is, and overall a little better than one would expect from this type of release.

How Do They Fit?

I went true to size on these. I find these a little lighter and more comfy than the older AM90s we had been getting. The new shape looks nice and pointy on foot, and again the larger box means no toebox dents.
