Probably the last premium AM1 I’m picking up for a while, these Nike Air Max 1 Premium Dusty Peach are my first jewel swoosh!
These get their name from the colorway.
The reddish tone to these brown kicks opens them up to a lot of outfit possibilities. You can go with some dark denim and dark top or you can rock some light jeans and a white top. The only thing I would avoid wearing with these are khakis or green pants.
I’m glad to finally add the jewel swoosh to the collection. I’m surprised I haven’t grabbed a pair before, but I caught a deal on these, so I pulled the trigger finally. I can definitely recommend these to anyone that likes leather AM1s and/or tiny swooshes on runners!
How Are The Materials?
The materials on these are really good! The leather is smooth and buttery. That said, it’s still thick and holds it’s shape well. Overall it reminds me of the leather on the Snow Beach AM1s to some degree; there’s just more of it on this shoe. A mesh toebox might have been nice in terms of keeping the shoes cool, but the all leather construction does help the look a lot. And it is a good quality leather!
How Do They Fit?
These Nike Air Max 1 Premium Dusty Peach fit true to size and are very comfortable. The flexible leather gives these a good amount of give without being “floppy” and for me, allows my typical half size very comfortably. The shape is of course nice and sloped on the toebox.
