So clearly I’m back in the AF1 game. Next up are these Nike Air Force 1’s with gum soles. This is a very basic pack of general release AF1s that just happens to look exceptional.
How Are The Materials?
These come in a regular grey Air Force 1 box and ship with flat regular laces. Other than that there is literally nothing special or extra included with these joints at all.
The leather upper on these is surprisingly good for a general release pair of Nike Sportswear kicks! The bulk of the upper of the sneakers opt for a heavy tumbled finish while the swoosh and backtab are a smooth leather.
Overall the feel is a lot softer and less stiff than I thought it would be, although not quite what I would call premium.
How Do They Fit?
The Nike Air Force 1 “Gum Pack” fit huge like all Air Force 1s. I went true to size for a roomy fit. The comfort is there thanks to that thick midsole. Although slightly heavy compared to a modern low top casual shoe, these are still very comfy.
I copped these at first because the black pair reminded me of the Entourage SB dunks, even though they have no elephant print and the swoosh is white. After that, I had to get the rest of the pairs in the pack!
