The New Balance Numeric 480 x Jeremy Fish x 303 Skateboards Silly Pink Bunnies collaboration brings together Colorado’s 303 Skateboards and artist Jeremy Fish on a playful, character-driven take on the 480. Inspired by Fish’s Silly Pink Bunnies art installation in San Francisco, the shoe is loaded with bunny-themed details and creative storytelling throughout the design.
I’ve already covered the history of the 480 in my Premier “Morel” review, but this pair marks the first-ever collab on the Numeric 480. It features a Silly Pink Bunny Jolly Roger-style graphic and 303 branding debossed on the heel and tongue, embroidered feather details by the ankle (a signature J. Fish motif) and the insoles are fully printed with Silly Pink Bunny artwork as a final nod to the theme.
After picking up the Premier pair, I knew I wanted this one too—especially since it was still sitting on Plus Skateshop for $90 shipped. Honestly, I’m shocked these haven’t sold out everywhere: the construction, storytelling, and quality are exceptional, and the Neapolitan-like palette gives off strong Stüssy Dunk vibes.
The shoes arrive in a custom co-branded box with more bunny artwork, a dust bag with Jeremy Fish graphics, brown and pink waxed laces with “303” and “SPB” aglets, matching “303/SPB” deubres, and even a special keychain mixing the 480 silhouette with the bunny character.
Materials
Premium leather wraps most of the shoe, with canvas underlays adding texture and durability. The fuzzy suede around the ankle is soft and well-executed, reinforcing the bunny theme. For a $130 skate shoe, the material quality is outstanding—easily punching above its weight even though it’s not a Made in USA release. The craftsmanship and detailing make this a great first Numeric 480 collab to have on the books.
Fit & Comfort
The fit can be polarizing. I found them comfortable at true to size, but some people report a narrow midfoot and heel. A brief break-in helps, and once settled, they feel good for casual wear. Cushioning is typical of a skate shoe—firmer, supportive, low to the ground, and more about boardfeel than plushness. Not quite as cushioned as an SB Dunk, but the roomy toebox is a major plus. I wouldn’t wear them all day, but for a few hours they’re perfectly comfortable. Note that these do not have tongue straps – those were added to the Numeric 480 afterwards.
If these are sold out at different stores online, you can try looking for them on eBay.
