The Vans Old Skool is one of my favorite Vans models. I’ve never seen a model catch on to the sneakerhead mainstream the way Old Skools have done. Sure, plenty of people rock Slip Ons, Authentics and Sk8-His. But as far as sneaker collecting goes, it seems like the Old Skool is really the model of choice.
For me, the best thing about the Old Skool is the shape. It’s lowkey and works in a lot of different types of outfits. A plain pair can be worn outside of fashion and skating and adapted into almost any situation. Aesthetically, it blends into a multitude of styles, which is one of the reasons I like the shoe so much!
