The Vans Sk8-Hi is the first model from Vans that I liked. The first model besides the Half Cab, that is. I was convinced I would only ever get Sk8-His from the brand until I was able to get my hands on some other pairs.
Vans comes out with limited releases of the model for those who are more into collecting. There are releases today that are dropping that will never be seen again once they sell out. There are so many colorways and drops of the Sk8-Hi that it is tough to keep up if you are into collecting them.
My only knock against the Sk8-Hi is that they lace up pretty high, similar to the Nike Blazer. If you can get past this, the model represents a good sneaker! This shoe can definitely help round out a collection of skate-inspired pairs.

The Vans Sk8 Hi Reissue 10 oz Canvas in Verdant Green is definitely a dope shoe that looks great on foot. The design is simple, however the look is classic and I have no doubt people will not be hating on your footwear if you are rocking these.
