The Adidas Anthony Edwards 1 Low Iron Sharpens Iron continues Anthony Edwards’ first signature line with Adidas, pulling its nickname from the phrase “iron sharpens iron,” a saying that represents growth through competition. This colorway is also inspired by Edwards’ “Ant-Man” persona and his dedication to the Minnesota Timberwolves, blending that fearless, high-energy mindset with a bold, aggressive design that feels right at home on the court.

So, what’s the deal with the sneaker collection (Seinfeld Voice)? Right around 2008, I’d just lost a lot of weight and was in need of an entirely new wardrobe. I was in the process of buying newer, smaller clothes and the time came for a new pair of shoes. Rather than pick some ordinary pair like I normally would, I opted for a more interesting and unique looking pair. The response from others was so strong and positive that I decided to look more into the different kinds of cool sneakers and discovered that collecting sneakers is similar to collecting comics, baseball cards, or any other of the numerous hobbies I had when I was a kid! I’ve been into sneakers ever since – to the extent that I even got an article written about me in the paper! I’ve also been collector of the month in Solecollector Magazine (issue #47)!
I built up a lot of my collection looking for deals on slept-on pairs! I also post deals I find on this very site when I have time.
As for the photography aspect, check out any Sneaker related websites (there are many), and you will typically find posts filled with awesome, artsy footwear shots. I like learning about cameras and taking interesting shots, and it turns out there are actually sites online where you can get recognized for both your collection and photography skills at the same time! You can check out some of my most recent shots below. If you’re curious, I currently shoot with a Nikon D3100 (Amazon link) and mostly use a 50mm lens.
My eBay account is where I list my current sneakers available for sale (if I happen to be selling any).
Here are some quick links to different categories of sneakers:

The Jordan Trunner O/S Cave Stone keeps things grounded with a muted, earthy color palette, taking its name directly from the Cave Stone colorway. This off-brown, neutral-heavy look fits right into Jordan Brand’s recent push toward more wearable, lifestyle-friendly performance silhouettes while still maintaining the chunky, aggressive Trunner DNA.

The Nike Ava Rover Black/Muslin is a newer lifestyle runner that leans heavily into Nike’s current minimalist, tech-forward design language. This one flew a bit under the radar, but it fits right into that modern “retro yet slightly futuristic” lane sneaker brands have been pushing lately.
