The Nike Air Max 90 Lemon Twist is a clean GR release that quietly dropped, but it’s one of those pairs that stands out once you see it in person. The name comes from the bold accent color—Lemon Twist—that gives this otherwise neutral pair a bright pop. It’s a fresh, wearable take on the Air Max 90 that feels like a reverse of the classic Volt colorway.

So, what’s the deal with the sneaker collection (Seinfeld Voice)? Right around 2008, I’d just lost a lot of weight and was in need of an entirely new wardrobe. I was in the process of buying newer, smaller clothes and the time came for a new pair of shoes. Rather than pick some ordinary pair like I normally would, I opted for a more interesting and unique looking pair. The response from others was so strong and positive that I decided to look more into the different kinds of cool sneakers and discovered that collecting sneakers is similar to collecting comics, baseball cards, or any other of the numerous hobbies I had when I was a kid! I’ve been into sneakers ever since – to the extent that I even got an article written about me in the paper! I’ve also been collector of the month in Solecollector Magazine (issue #47)!
I built up a lot of my collection looking for deals on slept-on pairs! I also post deals I find on this very site when I have time.
As for the photography aspect, check out any Sneaker related websites (there are many), and you will typically find posts filled with awesome, artsy footwear shots. I like learning about cameras and taking interesting shots, and it turns out there are actually sites online where you can get recognized for both your collection and photography skills at the same time! You can check out some of my most recent shots below. If you’re curious, I currently shoot with a Nikon D3100 (Amazon link) and mostly use a 50mm lens.
My eBay account is where I list my current sneakers available for sale (if I happen to be selling any).

Nike Air 180 University Blue & Hyper Pink Review
This model doesn’t always get the spotlight like its Air Max siblings, but it deserves a second look. Especially the Nike Air 180 University Blue & Hyper Pink colorway. Originally designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield and released back in 1991, the Air 180 is famous for its visible 180-degree Air unit that wraps beneath the heel.

The Nike Dunk Low “What The JP” is a sleeper pair that carries more heat than first impressions might suggest. Originally released exclusively in Japan back in 2017, this pair was incredibly hard to come by outside of resale. Fast forward to 2024, Nike shock-dropped the pair again exclusively on their website. But by then, the hype around regular (non-SB) Dunk Lows had cooled off, so much so that these were still sitting on Nike’s site well into 2025.

The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Signal Blue is back for 2025, and Nike kept things pretty faithful to the original 1997 release. This colorway was one of the standouts when the Spiridon first dropped, and seeing it return is a nice callback to the late ‘90s era of running shoes that had a futuristic edge. The standout tech here is Zoom Air, much like the SB Dunk.

The Nike Air Penny 2 “Atlantic Blue” is a retro of an original 1996 colorway from Penny Hardaway’s second signature sneaker. As a cornerstone of the Penny line, the Air Penny 2 was designed to match Hardaway’s versatile playstyle, featuring a blend of Air Max cushioning in the heel and Zoom Air in the forefoot. Since Penny played for the Orlando Magic, all three OG colorways of the Penny 2 reflected some variation of the team’s iconic blue, black, and white.

The Nike Air Max 1 Olympic brings a clean, patriotic look with a standout metallic gold Swoosh, evocative of a gold Olympic medal. While the name comes from the colorway, this isn’t a direct reissue of any previous Olympic-themed AM1. The mix of obsidian and white keeps things classic, while subtle red hits on the branding and top eyelets add a little extra flair.
