While I tend to hate on 4’s based on comfort, I still have love for original colorways. The Air Jordan 4 White Cement is arguably the best of the bunch and I’m really stoked to have a version of the shoe.

So, what’s the deal with the sneaker collection (Seinfeld Voice)? Right around 2008, I’d just lost a lot of weight and was in need of an entirely new wardrobe. I was in the process of buying newer, smaller clothes and the time came for a new pair of shoes. Rather than pick some ordinary pair like I normally would, I opted for a more interesting and unique looking pair. The response from others was so strong and positive that I decided to look more into the different kinds of cool sneakers and discovered that collecting sneakers is similar to collecting comics, baseball cards, or any other of the numerous hobbies I had when I was a kid! I’ve been into sneakers ever since – to the extent that I even got an article written about me in the paper! I’ve also been collector of the month in Solecollector Magazine (issue #47)!
I built up a lot of my collection looking for deals on slept-on pairs! I also post deals I find on this very site when I have time.
As for the photography aspect, check out any Sneaker related websites (there are many), and you will typically find posts filled with awesome, artsy footwear shots. I like learning about cameras and taking interesting shots, and it turns out there are actually sites online where you can get recognized for both your collection and photography skills at the same time! You can check out some of my most recent shots below. If you’re curious, I currently shoot with a Nikon D3100 (Amazon link) and mostly use a 50mm lens.

So, I had no idea when I was buying these – but apparently they are limited to 500 pairs! This Air Max Light x Size collab is definitely a very high quality release. The Air Max Light is a fairly slept on model and it’s always dubious if a Size? exclusive is really “exclusive”.

Nike Loves doing beer-themed collabs! These Nike Dunk Low SB Newcastle are not an official collab though; rather they are a send up to the brand known for its brown ale. These were hyped up as the second coming of the Heineken SB Dunk, but never became as valuable. This is surprising, since the colorway is easy to get dirty and finding clean pairs is tough these days.
