The Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 originally debuted in 1989, and while this “Racer Pink” release isn’t an OG men’s colorway, it actually nods to a 1990 women’s exclusive. It’s not something you see every day, which gives this retro a unique throwback appeal.

Here’s all my Nike Trainer reviews! Sportswear icons like Andre Agassi and Bo Jackson are closely associated with Nike Trainers. That said, newer Trainers like the Space Hippie line have made an impact! Newer releases and retros bring this category of Nike kicks to a new audience.
This category is a bit of a catch-all, since Nike Trainers run the gamut from football-oriented kicks to cross-training. Basically, if the shoe is not a runner, retro runner, or basketball shoe, but is still a Nike Trainer, you will find my review on it here.

The Nike Air Trainer SC High Auburn is easily one of the most iconic Bo Jackson sneakers of all time. Originally released in 1990, this colorway is deeply tied to Bo’s time at Auburn University, borrowing its white, navy, and orange palette from the Tigers football uniform.
