Here’s all my Nike Foamposite reviews! The Nike Foamposite first came out in 1997. The sneaker has gone through waves of popularity, including a peak around the time the Big Bang Foams released. Plenty of OGs and retros of OG colorways go for a fair amount on the aftermarket, which is interesting for such a polarizing shoe. The basketball player probably most synonymous with Foamposites is Penny Hardaway.
The big thing about the fit on Foams is that the materials are supposed to conform to the users foot with wear to provide a perfect fit. I never wear my pairs long enough for this to happen though. While I had quite a few pairs during the peak of all the dope Foam colorways releasing, I have since pared down my collection of boot-like hoop shoe retros. This type of heavy sneaker does not fit my current collecting lifestyle.
I still like the look of the shoe though. While polarizing among collectors, those in certain pockets of the world (like DC for example) still love and revere the sneaker.
