The Nike Dunk Low “What The JP” is a sleeper pair that carries more heat than first impressions might suggest. Originally released exclusively in Japan back in 2017, this pair was incredibly hard to come by outside of resale. Fast forward to 2024, Nike shock-dropped the pair again exclusively on their website. But by then, the hype around regular (non-SB) Dunk Lows had cooled off, so much so that these were still sitting on Nike’s site well into 2025.

Here’s all my Nike Dunk reviews! The Nike Dunk first came out in 1985. Initially, the hightops were all the rage, but these days the lowtops have taken over! Additionally, the popularity of SB Dunks has drawn attention to their non-SB counterparts over and over again.
I still cop Dunks to this day. However, I generally add my new pickups to my main Nike Dunk article. Before I started doing that though, I was writing individual reviews on the model. I think I have over 30 pairs on this site alone. The funny part is, that doesn’t even cover all the pairs I had before I started the site!

Nike Dunk High Wu-Tang Review
The Nike Dunk High Wu-Tang re-release similar to the Currys, but on a much larger scale. As far as I am aware, the original Wu-Tang Dunks came out in 1999 and were extremely limited. This newer release is much wider, giving us the opportunity to get our hands on a previously very hard to obtain pair.

The Nike Dunk Low Silver Surfer are a throwback re-release similar to the Currys and Red/Obsidian. In fact, the original pair of Silver Surfers released in 2004, so this retro is exactly 2 decades later.

The Nike Dunk Low Obsidian Red Review might seem like a basic general Dunk release. The colorway and materials seem a bit typical. However, this colorway is actually a retro of a sneaker that came out over 20 years ago!

The Nike Dunk Low Medium Curry are one of these all suede upper Dunks that look great in a wheat-type colorway. This pair released back in 2021 and sold pretty well at the time. I heavily considered getting a pair at the time but couldn’t afford the resale. Three years later they have re-released and I’ve finally grabbed a pair!
