The New Balance 993 Olive Leaf / Maize is a straightforward but striking colorway from the Made in USA 993 line. This lifestyle sneaker and retro runner blends earthy olive tones with muted violet accents, making it a versatile option for casual wear and everyday streetwear style. It is another Teddy Santis colorway that released alongside the Mushroom 993 I reviewed earlier. I look at these two as kind of a “pack” of GR 993s.

The New Balance 990 series contains some great New Balance models. Some would view it as the flagship series for the brand. All the pairs I own are part of the Made In USA line and have some great quality as far as materials.
This is one series of releases that continually gets updates. The sneaker originated in the early 80s, and is currently on it’s 6th iteration. They still release retros of the older versions for those that are a bit more classically-minded. But rest assured, there’s usually a new model to get into for those that want the latest take from New Balance.

The New Balance 993 Pink Taffy released as part of a small two-pair pack (alongside a blue/black version), bringing a vibrant twist to a model that usually leans neutral. As with all 99X entries, this pair is made in the USA and keeps the signature USA heel embroidery that’s characteristic of the 993.

The New Balance 992 Dark Camo brings a clean, earthy take to one of the most iconic models in the 99X lineup—despite the name, the shoe doesn’t feature actual camo, just a camo-inspired color palette.

The last NB I got were the 2002r, distinctly not Made in USA, so I had to come back to something more luxurious for the brand.
