A collection of Asics Gel Lyte V reviews! I love the silhouette on this sneaker and the neoprene booty style ankle collar. These definitely give a 1:1 type of fit without going into mesh upper territory, at least on the retros.
These came out in 1993 as a follow up to the Gel Lyte 3. Apparently the number 4 is unlucky in Japan, so a Gel Lyte IV never released.
The Gel Lyte 3 is my favorite Asics model. But I’ve enjoyed multiple pairs of Gel Lyte Vs during my collecting career and I’m definitely open to getting new pairs if the right pair catches my eye!
