The Air Jordan 5 Fire Red is one of the most iconic original colorways of the AJ5, debuting back in 1990. Michael Jordan wore these during regular season games, and the colorway has stood the test of time as one of the more recognizable looks for the model.

Here’s all my Air Jordan 5 reviews! I’ve owned plenty of pairs. In fact, in my early days of collecting Js had a lot of 5s as pickups! Of course, I love the OG colorways the most, but the 5 has seen a lot of high profile, sought after releases through the years.
These days, my taste has strayed away from this type of Jordan retro; it’s a bit extreme for how I dress today. Still, I have plenty of love for this model, and lots of memories of copping pairs in my first few years of collecting.

I wore a 2006 retro of these a lot! Once the air bubble fogged up, I was glad I had this newer pair of Air Jordan 5 Grape on ice, ready to UNDS! The shoe is based on an original pair of V’s and gets its name from the colorway. An easy way to tell between retros is the blue tint to the icy outsole (or lack thereof).
