The Adidas Ultraboost line is one of the most popular sneakers from the brand and has probably doubled their revenue since their initial release in 2015 with the 1.0. They have since pumped out tons of colorways and new versions.

The Adidas Ultraboost in many ways brought the brand back into the arena of street style and sneaker collecting. While Boost started in 2013, Ultraboost wouldn’t popularize the technology until 2015.
Celebrities like Kanye West had been spotted in the model. Sock-like sneakers were becoming a trend. The Ultraboost, with its at the time superior comfort, mixed collectible sneakers with a technical running shoe. This had also happened with classic Air Maxes over time, but here it was happening on a modern sneaker!
I’ve owned my fair share of UBs, and have written reviews on many of them.

These will probably be my last Ultraboost for a while after all the pairs I’ve grabbed recently. I’ve been more a fan of the plain colorways for this model, so this Adidas Ultraboost 4.0 Grey will round out the collection with a nice neutral tone.
