First pair of Gel-Respectors and I can’t believe I waited this long! The Asics Gel Respector Duffle Bag is part of a premium casual pack that also includes a blue pair.
I’m definitely feeling the look of these, like many runners that debuted in the 90s. While there isn’t a ton of hype on this particular colorway, I’m glad I was able to swoop these up at a great discount! I’m a big Asics fan and it feels great to incorporate a new, well-put-together model into the collection.
The materials on these are definitely premium. The suede, although maybe not the lushest you’ve ever seen, is nice and buttery. The shoe also has a little bit of leather on the Asics stripes on the side. Overall, these were definitely worth the price when it comes to materials and solid construction. Definitely a quality shoe!
The Asics Gel Respector Duffle Bag fit true to size for me, although I’ve read online that they fit big on others. If you can’t get a pair to try on, I’d go with true size, but if you tend to have narrower feet, you might want to size down a half size. Like most Asics with gel soles these feel great, very comfortable!
