Ah, the Space Jams. This 2009 Air Jordan XI Space Jam release started the trend of releasing AJXI around Christmas time every year. There was mad hype for these of course.
And why not? This classic colorway gets its nickname from the Michael Jordan / Looney Tunes movie of the same name.
This particular pair came in a special pull-out drawer style box and included a blue plastic overlay inside the box, special pearled blue plastic shoe trees and black rope laces.
The materials are mesh and patent leather with the icey outsole and a dash of carbon fiber to finish off the look. I think the materials here are pretty good! The mesh and patent are cut thick and seem solidly built, which is about as much as I can ask for with a sneaker like this.
With respect to comfort, these are average for a pair of AJXI. If you find Jordan 11s to be snug, you wouldn’t be the only one. In this case, going up a half size from your normal true size could be helpful.
