It’s been a while since I owned a pair of these! These Air Jordan Future Pure Platinum remind me that I never should have sold the Iron Green colorway off. These get their nickname from the colorway.
Basically you want to treat these like a white/offwhite type of shoe even though they kind of have a grey vibe to them as well. A black outfit will allow these to really pop, while a light or medium wash denim and white top will help evoke a clean, summery look. Khakis could replace the light denim in this scenario as well. These even look great with an army green pair of pants!
What can I say, I keep coming back to this model! I’ve always liked the Jordan Future and I’m hoping some more slick colorways release so I can build my collection back up!
How Are The Materials?
The materials are good. Basically, the entire upper is woven, sort of like a pair of footscapes. I’m a big fan of this configuration vs other material types on the Future. The materials here aren’t mind blowing but they definitely aren’t bad either, they score positively in my book!
How Do They Fit?
These Air Jordan Future Pure Platinum fit good for me at a half size down. Some might feel a bit of a pinch at that size so true size is always a safe bet, as is with many Jordans. The overall comfort is definitely better than a pair of AJXIs, which is what I think of when I look at these. Basically a more comfortable, less stiff and bootlike version of the 11.
