I hope you’re not getting sick of AJ1 Lows, because I’ve no intentions of stopping the pickups! These Air Jordan 1 Low Gym Red are the latest acquisition and they are super clean! They get their name from the colorway.
How Are The Materials on the AJ1 Low Gym Red?
These are made out of a basic level of leather. The finish on the leather seems to be softer than other recent Jordan 1 low pickups, so texturally these feel a bit nicer than your typical general release
The red bits of leather seem sturdier and of better quality than the white areas. Overall these materials are surprisingly good for an otherwise plain shoe.
These come in the black and gold Air Jordan mid/low box and ship with white laces. Otherwise there is nothing additional or special included with the shoe.
How Do They Fit?
The AJ1 Low Gym Red fit true to size. It is a somewhat narrow fit though, so many find going a half size up more comfortable.
I’m really liking the basic, simple comfort the AJ1 low provides. The toebox shape on these is a little boxier than I would have liked but these feel great on feet.
These are simple and clean! I love a shoe like this in the collection. My one gripe is that the red leather has already started to bleed onto the laces a little bit – although white laces are cheap to replace. Either way I recommend these!
