The Air Jordan 1 Low Chicago brings back one of the most iconic colorways ever, now in a clean low-top form for the new year. I’ve always loved the Chicago look, so seeing it return again in 2025 felt like the perfect time to finally grab a pair.
The Chicago colorway is an original AJ1 High classic, but it didn’t appear on the Low until 2016. This 2025 version adds back the 8th lace hole and features a larger Swoosh for a more authentic shape and proportions. The overall silhouette looks slightly different compared to previous drops, but nothing drastically noticeable once they’re on foot.
I missed the last Chicago Low release, so this was high on my list for November 2025. I was able to hit on SNKRS for retail — a huge win — and I’m excited to have a versatile, everyday version of my favorite Jordan colorway. These are going to be instant dedicated beaters!
Standard black Jordan box with red accents. Comes with black laces installed and an extra set of white laces.
Materials
Decent leather for a mass-market Jordan release — not premium, but definitely better than the lows from years ago. The panels feel solid enough and break in well, which is all I really need from an AJ1 Low.
Fit & Comfort
True to size with the usual AJ1 feel. Slightly roomier since it’s a low-cut, but overall pretty standard comfort — nothing special, nothing bad.
If these are sold out at different stores online, you can try looking for them on eBay.
