Here’s my About Me page! My name’s Anthony and I’m a sneaker collector! I’ve been collecting since 2008.
I started this site around 2015 and I’ve been adding to it ever since. Initially, I wanted to do music and product reviews, although those articles are now long gone as my primary hobby, sneaker collecting, took over!
I started the insanity with Nike SB Dunks. In fact, my first collectible sneaker was the Newcastle SB Dunks. Pretty much all the articles on this site through around 2021 or so are reviews of individual older sneakers.
I developed a Youtube channel dedicated to sneakers, and got quite a following before it was unceremoniously shut down in mid-2021. After that, I turned to using this site to answer the sneaker questions I continuously receive. After all, I want this site to be as helpful as possible to those that stumble across it!
Additionally, I started a podcast for sneaker collectors like me, called Actual Fan of Sneakers. I also post deals I find on this very site.
As far as accolades from collecting, I got an article written about me in the paper! I’ve also been collector of the month in Solecollector Magazine (issue #47)! I still wish I had those pairs of Adidas Busenitz featured in the issue.
As a longtime fan of sneakers, even if I’m not actively collecting, I’m still into writing articles here, bringing new deals I find and delivering new episodes of the podcast. I hope this site helps you out when you have a sneaker-related question!
