After the Cloud White pair, I was all in on this model! Given that these Adidas I-5923 Base Green are basically the same shoe but green instead of white, this review is going to be very similar.
These are definitely more of a fall shoe and a bit less versatile than the cloud white pair. Still, given the right matchup, you could still wear these easily in spring and summer. Khakis are a good look for these as well as dark or black denim. I even took a chance with some army colored pants here and it doesn’t look bad at all (paired up with a black hoodie). Then again, it’s overcast when I’m writing this, so it kind of fits!
This model is just superb. I can’t believe I slept for this long. I definitely think you will enjoy these if you pick them up! Find a colorway you like and give them a try!
How Are The Materials?
The materials are just as good on these as the other pair. Again, smooth buttery suede surprises. I’m not talking silver box SB or Made in USA New Balance levels, but definitely great at a low price point. Definitely worth a look even for materials snobs.
How Do They Fit?
These Adidas I-5923 Base Green are very comfy. The boost and stretchy mesh make these feel like clouds on feet! That said, these do fit quite large, at a half size down my feet still have plenty of room, so don’t expect a snug fit with these. The pointy toe looks great and definitely might be felt on the top of your toes but not in an uncomfortable way.
