Sauc Life! When Black Friday sales kicked in, the Saucony Alife Jazz 91 was an instant cop for me!
The collab includes this pair and a red/white/green pair. The shoes feature Alife branding on the tongue tag and insoles and are supposedly limited to just 300 pairs. I’m not sure if that’s 300 for each colorway or just 300 total.
A bright colorway like this needs a lowkey outfit that matches the tone of the shoe. In this case, I’m going with a striped navy hoodie from Ralph Lauren with an elongated grey tee underneath and a medium-light wash pair of H&M skinny jeans.
All in all I recommend checking out this collaboration. Even if you are not able to get them at a super discount, they are in my opinion still worth the $90 retail.
How Are The Materials?
I am really surprised in a good way by the materials used on this shoe. The suede is nice and soft and the mesh helps make these lightweight and breathable. An extra bonus would have to be the Saucony logo on the side being entirely 3M! I was dubious on the quality until I got it in hand and I now can vouch for just how great the materials are in person.
How Do They Fit?
The Saucony Alife Jazz 91 fit a little big but are very comfortable. I went a half size down and found the fit to be perfect for me. The toebox shape is a little blocky initially but can be reshaped if needed. One thing about the Jazz 91 is that it’s a hybrid model that combines the upper of a Jazz Original with the midsole and overall shape of a Shadow 6000. If you follow my blog, you know my love for the Shadow 6000 runs deep!
