Nike SB loves the beer theme. When they dropped in 2003, the Nike Dunk Low SB Heineken was immediately pulled by the famous beer company as the collab is completely unofficial.

The rarity and backstory of the shoe make these one of the more popular SB’s with collectors. I’m not a huge fan of Heineken beer as there’s so many good beers out there to choose from. I’m a big fan of this colorway however. Obviously the sneakers are based off of the colorway of a can of Heineken. They also have a star patch towards the back to match the red star found on their logo.
There are a couple ways to go about creating an outfit with these. I suggest not trying to overly match the green on the shoe at all. Rather than go with some neutral colors like I normally would with this type of shoe, I decided to play off the red star and laces with a red Polo hoodie, beige elongated tee and dark blue jeans from H&M. I rarely wear this bright red hoodie, but these kicks provided a good opportunity to bust it out!
In any case, this shoe is definitely one every serious SB collector should aim to add to their collection if possible.
How Are The Materials?
The materials on these are really nice. They definitely have the level of quality of an early 2000’s dunk. The white parts are a nice leather while the swoosh and green areas are a very soft suede/nubuck. The embroidered star is thick and well stitched. For such a celebrated shoe, the materials are really simple. Of course, the quality of said materials really help set it apart from newer SB’s, even those with a beer theme.
How Do They Fit?
The Nike Dunk Low SB Heineken fit true to size and are very comfortable. These are of an era of very comfortable and accommodating SB’s. Now, overly stiff and synthetic construction makes SB’s have a lot more of a break in period, but these are comfy right out of the box.
