I was ready for some new Forces, and these Air Force 1 Swoosh Sporting Club made the perfect shoe to get me back into the AF1 game!
I’m not sure if the Sporting Club theme has to do with hunting, but a few different shoes came out in this pack. The standout feature here is the bird graphic stitched on the back and printed on the insole.
While I’m not necessarily pro-hunting, I am pro-dope kicks! I think Grey, white and gum is a great combination that gives these kicks a fairly “classy” look. These went on sale pretty quickly too, which means they’re being slept on. I definitely recommend giving these some attention if you are into Air Force 1s.
How Are The Materials?
The materials on these seem a bit better than typical AF1s and also fairly unique. The upper is mostly made out of this rubbery type textile. I’m not sure if this is just a textured leather but it feels like rubber to me. The rest of the shoe has a corduroy material on it that classes these up a bit. I don’t think I’ve seen another pair of Air Forces with this particular combination of textures on one shoe.
How Do They Fit?
The Nike Air Force 1 Swoosh Sporting Club fit a tad big but are otherwise very comfortable. I recommend a half size down on these unless you like to lace your kicks super tight and still have a lot of room. These are not lightweight, so if you’re more into runners these might not be a good look for you. However, if you are familiar with Air Force 1s, these should fit pretty much how you expect them to fit and will provide a decent level of solid support and comfort.
