Classic dizzunk alert! Peep out these Nike Dunk High Graphite Obsidian, a random dunk I picked up that was made around 2002.
I was going around picking up obscure old dunks and happened to grab these. These are really weird in my opinion because the obsidian kind of throws the colorway off a bit… My eyes expect black, but its not quite black. This kind of interesting twist on an otherwise straightforward color scheme makes these stand out in my book.
These epitomize the basic dunk from that era; mesh tongue (moving away from the old nylon tongues) and simple, high quality materials. The leather is definitely on point on these and can be expected of almost any pickup from the early 2000s.
The Nike Dunk High Graphite Obsidian fit ok at true to size. These are really comfortable and make me wish we were still using materials and shapes from back in the day on dunks. While that may never happen, you can still find these on auction sites online and if you see them in your size, I highly recommend grabbing a pair.
