The Ishod Wair dunks with less padding and thin tongues released to a mixed response. These Nike SB Dunk Low IW BMW are the first QS drop of the IW line.
They celebrate the BMW – specifically the model Wair owns. The shoes feature an inner gold metallic swoosh, outer silver metallic swoosh, a special graphic on the insole and colored aglets to complete the theme.
These are the type of brightly colored shoe that actually works well with darker outfits. Some black pants and a grey top or some dark jeans and a white top all work well with this type of shoe. Feel free to mix it up, but avoid too much navy in your outfit.
How Are The Materials?
Aside from the plasticky metallic swooshes, these are made out of nice tumbled leather and suede. The materials on this pair are actually pretty good! I was definitely surprised how nice the leather looks and feels on these and how lush the suede is for a pair of SBs. These are probably about as nice of materials as you will find on a current SB (besides maybe the Homegrown dunks).
How Do They Fit?
The Nike SB Dunk Low IW BMW fit snug so I actually went a half size up. I would think with less padding, I could actually size down, but that isn’t the case. You could probably go true to size and get away with it, but at half up, the shoes feel really comfortable!
