Well I’m not slowing down on my Saucony binge – here’s the evidence, the Saucony Shadow Original in a white and blue colorway.
If it’s not clear by now that I’m definitely feeling this model, I’ll just have to make it clear by copping a few more colorways! Seriously, these things are so inexpensive, and a definite upgrade to the Jazz Original (incorporating the Shadow 5000 design was a good look).
These have nice materials, although the suede seems a bit rougher than that on the other pair of Originals I reviewed the other day. Still, the suede is pretty good on these and the rest of the materials are nice as well. Definitely give that grey suede a feel if you encounter these at the store!
The Saucony Shadow Original White & Blue fits true to size. The shoe is so simple, it can’t help but be really comfortable. Again, the midsole is low tech on these, so don’t expect Lunar or Boost levels of comfort, but for a casual retro runner, these are some of the best!
