I saw something similar to these on another website but it was sold out, so I hit Vans site and got these Vans Authentic Baja.
These are a basic pair of Vans Authentics but with the Baja / Mexican Blanket print on the upper. Vans have become known for spicing up an otherwise plain shoe with dope prints. This particular print looks so nice in person, I’m glad I grabbed these!
These have a standard canvas upper. The quality is good for what it is, although I’m not sure how these would hold up to anything besides casual wear. Overall the build construction is solid enough. However, from what I’ve seen canvas Authentics aren’t really built to withstand a beating. This shoe for me is all about the print.
The Vans Authentic Baja fit true to size for me. The comfort is definitely there as the insole is nice and cushy. These basically hug your foot with the most basic elements needed to form a shoe; some sort of thin upper and a strip of rubber on the bottom. If you’ve worn Authentics before you already know what to expect with these.
