Nike Dunk Low Denim Light Armory Blue Review

Updated January 30, 2026 by Anthony

The Nike Dunk Low Denim Light Armory Blue gets its name from the denim construction and the Light Armory Blue colorway, offering a cleaner, more traditional take on the denim Dunk concept. This pair released alongside the Dusted Clay version, giving fans two different looks built off the same material-driven idea.

The Nike Dunk Low originally debuted in the mid-1980s as a basketball shoe and has remained a staple in Nike’s retro lineup ever since. Like the Dusted Clay pair, this is an SE release, with the “special” aspect coming from the materials and construction rather than any performance upgrades. The denim upper and cut-out suede Swoosh give the shoe a more unique look compared to standard all-leather Dunk Lows.

I was essentially auditioning potential Dunk pickups, and this pair ended up getting my wife’s vote as the favorite, which definitely helped push them over the edge. On top of that, it’s hard to go wrong with denim on a Dunk, and completing a small pack is always a plus. Being able to grab these for around $75 shipped from Sheikh made the decision even easier.

The sneaker comes in a plain orange Nike box and includes two sets of flat laces, one in dark blue and one in sail. Both options work well with the upper and give you a bit of flexibility depending on how clean or contrast-heavy you want the look to be.

Materials

Materials here mirror the Dusted Clay pair, featuring denim throughout the upper with suede used in the cut-out Swoosh area. The denim feels solid and consistent, and while it’s not a premium-tier material, it’s clearly a step above the standard plasticky leather found on many general-release Dunks. Overall, the build feels appropriate for an SE release, especially at a discounted price.

Fit & Comfort

Fit is the familiar true to size Dunk Low fit, with a slightly roomy feel and no real tech underfoot. Comfort is basic but perfectly fine for casual wear, making these easy to rock for everyday use without any issues.

If these are sold out at different stores online, you can try looking for them on eBay.
