The Nike P-6000 Denim lands as a fresh lifestyle take on one of Nike’s most recognizable early-2000s running silhouettes, this time dressed up with a denim-inspired makeover.
The Nike P-6000, launched in 2019, blends classic Nike Pegasus models, particularly the Pegasus 25 and 2006. This Denim version keeps the familiar layered look intact but switches things up with the materials on the upper.
I’ve been liking this “old school influenced, new-school runner” type look, and the P-6000 is emblematic of this! I love the denim look on this pair, and the shades of blue they used. The white or “soft pearl” bits definitely pop against the different textures and colors, particularly the swoosh and laces.
Packaging is the usual orange Nike Sportswear box with white oval laces with blue piping.
Materials
This pair mixes mesh with denim-style textile overlays. While it’s still mostly synthetic at heart, the denim treatment elevates the appearance and makes the shoe feel a bit more special than a standard P-6000. Build quality feels solid and right in line with what you’d expect at this price point.
Fit & Comfort
The Nike P-6000 Denim fits true to size and is comfortable, lightweight and breathable. Cushioning is supportive with decent step-in feel, and the shoe feels stable underfoot with little to no break in required. There’s no tech in the midsole, so it’s not ultra-plush by modern performance standards, but for casual, all-day wear, it does the job very well.
