I’ve been a fan of Saucony’s Grid lineup for a while. With shiny overlays and a theme tied to the Winter Solstice itself, this pair stands out in the lineup alongside 2 other pairs in the “Moon Phase Pack”.
The Triumph 4 originally released in the late 2000s as one of Saucony’s top-tier performance runners, equipped with ProGrid cushioning and breathable open mesh construction. Now revived as a lifestyle option, this “Winter Solstice” colorway pulls inspiration from vibrant winter tones and celestial visuals. Iridescent paneling, a multicolor outsole, and holographic-style mesh give the shoe a shifting, reflective look. To finish the theme, the right shoe features moon phase graphics on the insole and tongue tag while the left gives the full moon symbol – nice storytelling for a retro runner. On the back of the tongue tag we get the winter solstice date of 12.21.2024.
I’ve been eyeing this model for a while waiting for the right colorway, and this was it. The iridescent details and wild upper make these one of the most visually fun sneakers I’ve grabbed lately.

True to size works perfectly. Comfort is a highlight here—Saucony retros tend to fly under the radar, but these absolutely deliver on cushioning and support.
