The Nike SB Dunk Low Hayley Wilson brings major personality with a tattoo-inspired design straight from the Australian pro skater herself. This collab is packed with details pulled from Hayley’s own ink, and you can see Hayley’s name right under the Nike SB logo on the tongue tag to make it official!
Features include scorpion, spider, rose, and 8-ball graphics on the insole. Additionally, laugh now, cry later-style face mask graphics are spread across the icy blue outsole. Even the barbed-wire-like stitching around the heel and the tongue tag font reflect tattoo aesthetics. Another standout detail is the UV-sensitive piping around the Swoosh and heel — it turns from white to purple in sunlight. Finally, “You Reckon” is shown on the back tongue tag, adding a personal touch. According to Nike, this is Hayley’s catch phrase!
I was all-in on these from the jump. The color scheme gives me Skeletor vibes — which is a win — and the layered details and UV touches make this a standout pair in the SB lineup. Was planning to grab on SNKRS, but ended up scooping early for retail from Skatewarehouse. Glad I didn’t wait — this one’s a banger.
As far as packaging, we get a UV-blocking bag inside the purple box to preserve the color change effect until they’re ready to be rocked. There’s also get three sets of laces included: teal with purple aglets, purple with teal aglets, and pink with black aglets.
Materials
The shoe uses a mix of suede overlays, nubuck on the side panels and collar, and a leather toebox. The quality feels on par with recent SB collabs — soft and premium-feeling out the box. The mix of materials and textural contrast works well, especially when paired with the bold colorway.
Fit & Comfort
Like most recent SBs, the fit is slightly snug. If you’re used to SB Dunk Lows, going up a half-size is the safe play, especially with the padded tongue and collar. Once broken in, comfort is solid for casual wear.
