The Nike Air Max 90 Lemon Twist Camo is the first camoflage-printed Air Max I’ve ever owned! Nike’s dropped a good number of camo-themed Air Max 90s over the years, and for 2025, they rolled out a whole pack with different camoflage-infused colorways. This pair takes the light, punchy yellow from the Lemon Twist AM90s and adds a camo spin to it—subtle but eye-catching.
I’ve liked these since first seeing pics. While the Air Max 95 might be getting more of the spotlight this year, the AM90 is holding strong with underrated releases. One of my favorite touches is the black toebox. It flips the script from a lot of older camo pairs where the bright accent color was up front. Here, it’s more grounded, and the camo and Lemon Twist accents really pop off that darker base.
I been checking up on this colorway and I found them on sale for $120 – it was enough for me to finally pull the trigger. I knew patience would pay off given that the 90 isn’t in the spotlight right now. Overall, this shoe is a cool twist on the Lemon Twist. Glad to see Nike still experimenting with the AM90 without going overboard, and if they can be had for a discount, it’s a must for me!
These come in the standard Nike orange box and include black flat laces.
Materials
Materials-wise, you get a leather Swoosh, mesh underlays, and rough suede on the overlays. The camo itself is printed on in a smooth finish, giving a layered feel. They’re labeled “premium,” but mostly for the design—material quality is about average, though construction feels solid in hand.
Fit & Comfort
Fit is your typical Air Max 90: true to size, and fairly comfy if not basic-feeling underfoot. No surprises here.
